No tracking or advertising cookies
AdSize sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no marketing pixels. There are no third-party analytics tags and no ad-network scripts on the site.
You do not need an account to use AdSize. There is no login and no registration. Because we do not identify you, we have nothing to feed into profiling or targeted advertising.
What we store
AdSize saves two small values in your browser to make the site work the way you expect. Both are first-party and used strictly for functionality. Neither is sent to any server, and neither contains personal information.
The table below lists exactly what we store and why. That is the complete list.
These values stay in your browser until you clear them, as described in the section on viewing and clearing storage below.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
creosize-theme |
Local storage | Remembers your light or dark theme choice. | Until you clear it |
creosize-consent |
Local storage | Remembers that you dismissed this notice. | Until you clear it |
These are localStorage items, not cookies
Technically, the two values above are stored using your browser's localStorage, not as HTTP cookies. The difference matters: localStorage stays in your browser and is not attached to network requests, so it is never automatically sent to a web server the way a cookie would be.
We use the word cookie in our on-site notice because that is the term most people recognize, but AdSize sets no tracking cookies of any kind.
How to view or clear what we store
You are always in control of this data. You can inspect or delete it at any time using your browser's developer tools: open the tools, find the Application or Storage section, and look under Local Storage for the adsize.io entry. There you can see the creosize-theme and creosize-consent values and delete either one.
You can also clear it through your browser's normal privacy settings by removing site data or browsing data for adsize.io. Clearing your browser history or using private browsing will also remove these values.
If you delete them, nothing breaks. The site simply forgets your theme choice and will show the transparency notice again on your next visit.
Files you preview stay on your device
The creative checker and preview tools let you drop in an image or video to test how it fits a given ad size. That file is processed entirely inside your own browser using a local object reference.
Your files are never uploaded to a server and are never stored by AdSize. When you close or reload the page, the local reference is gone.
Links to third-party sites
Many AdSize pages link out to each ad platform's own official documentation. Once you follow one of those links, you leave AdSize and land on a site we do not control.
Those third-party sites have their own privacy and cookie policies and may set their own cookies. We encourage you to review the policy of any site you visit.
Server logs
Like almost any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs, which can include an IP address, a browser user-agent string, and a timestamp. These logs support security and reliable operation of the site.
We do not use server logs to build profiles or to identify individuals.
Your rights and future changes
Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary functional storage like the two values above does not require prior consent. We still show a transparency notice so you know what is happening.
You have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, and erasure. In practice we hold essentially no personal data to act on, since we do not collect or store it. If you have a request or a question, contact us and we will help.
AdSize is a general-audience reference tool and is not directed at children under 13 or 16. If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any such technology runs.
