What we collect

Essentially nothing. AdSize has no user accounts, no login, and no registration. You do not give us your name, email, or any other personal details to use the site.

We do not use analytics. We do not run advertising or tracking pixels. There are no third-party marketing tags on our pages. We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal data.

Local storage on your device

AdSize saves two small items in your browser using first-party localStorage. These exist only to make the site work the way you expect.

The item named "creosize-theme" remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. The item named "creosize-consent" remembers that you dismissed our privacy notice, so it does not keep reappearing.

These items stay in your browser until you clear them, and they are never sent to any server. Technically they are localStorage entries, not HTTP cookies. AdSize sets no tracking cookies of any kind. You can delete these items at any time through your browser settings.

The creative checker and previews

AdSize includes a creative checker that lets you drop in an image or video to preview it against ad specifications.

This happens entirely inside your own browser. Your file is loaded through a local object URL and is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. When you close or reload the page, that local reference is gone. We never see, receive, or store the files you check.

Server logs and hosting

Like almost every website, AdSize runs on a hosting provider. That provider may keep standard server access logs, which can include your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the time of your request.

These logs exist for security and normal operations, such as keeping the site online and defending against abuse. We do not use them to build profiles, track your behaviour, or identify you as an individual.

Links to other websites

Throughout AdSize, we link to each ad platform's own official documentation so you can confirm the latest specifications at the source.

Once you follow a link and leave AdSize, you are on a third-party website that we do not control. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies or collect their own data. We encourage you to review their policies. This one only covers AdSize.

Your data rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR — and comparable frameworks such as the California CCPA — give you rights over your personal data. These typically include the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, and object to certain uses.

We respect these rights fully. In practice, though, AdSize holds essentially no personal data about you, so there is usually nothing for us to access, correct, or erase. Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary functional storage like our theme and consent items does not require prior consent. We still show a transparency notice so you always know what is happening.

Children

AdSize is a professional reference tool and is not directed at children. It is not intended for use by children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the way the site works changes. If we ever add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy first, and where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before those tools run.

When we make a significant change, the updated policy will be posted on this page.
