Ad regulations

Gambling & betting Restricted

RESTRICTED — Legal and state-regulated under Act 30/2019; regulator ÚRHH (Gambling Regulatory Authority) since 2019 opened online licensing. Advertising of unlicensed operators banned; 80%+ operators signed a voluntary Code of Responsible Advertising; tighter ad scrutiny 2025–26 (World Cup warnings, new consumer-protection unit from Feb 2026).

Crypto Legal

LEGAL — Regulated under EU MiCA; NBS is the competent authority. CASP licensing required (grandfathering through 2025–mid-2026); marketing must be fair, clear and non-misleading; Google requires MiCA/CASP licence for crypto ads from Apr 2025.

Adult Restricted

RESTRICTED — Consenting-adult pornography is legal, but no pornographic content is permitted in any advertisement and none may be aimed at or accessible to minors; broadcast protection-of-minors rules apply.
