Hold

Affiliate

The period a network or advertiser withholds your earned payout while it verifies lead quality, screening for fraud, refunds, or leads that miss the offer's terms before releasing funds. Longer holds tie up cash you'd otherwise reinvest, so buyers factor them into how fast they can scale. New affiliates and untrusted traffic usually face the longest holds.

Example

A network puts a 30-day hold on new affiliates before paying out their first COD leads.
