A Google format that does both lossy and lossless compression plus transparency, typically 25–35% smaller than an equivalent JPG or PNG. It's excellent for landing pages and web creatives where load speed counts. Browser support is broad, but it's spotty across ad platforms and email, so check the spec before using it as your upload.
